Associate Golf Professional & Golf Shop Manager (Full Time - Seasonal) – April - October, 2026
Location: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper, Alberta (On-site) - https://www.jaspermountaingolf.com/
Starting Rate of Pay: $22.84/hr CAD (Salaried – 40 hour work week)
Job Duties Include:
As the Associate Golf Professional / Golf Supervisor at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club, we deliver upon an exceptional experience, by providing warm and engaging service, making special happen for our golfers, and being able to create a golf experience like no other for our guests.
In this role you will support the hotel by:
• Ensure smooth operation of golf course operations on a daily basis
• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times, in relation to goals and measurements
• Train, coach, develop and supervise all golf operation colleagues
• Assist with scheduling, guest check-in experience, inventory controls, merchandising, daily cash out, payroll and revenue management
• Assist with tournaments and group outings to ensure proper execution and coordination
• Leading the team by assisting with training, coaching, and guidance when required.
• Spearheading communication to ensure all team members are aware of special events, and operations as well as operations at the rest of the resort.
• Supporting the Front Shop Attendants, Starters, Golfer Services Attendants, and Player Ambassadors, to ensure they have the tools and equipment required to complete their tasks.
• Supervising team members to ensure smooth operation, while following policies and procedures.
Your Skills & Qualifications:
• 2 years minimum experience in a managerial or supervisory position within a major golf operation is preferred and a strong asset.
• Member, in good standing, of PGA of Canada – Class A is preferred and a strong asset.
• Experience as a golf instructor required.
• Degree/Diploma in a related field an asset.
• Previous retail experience is required.
• Must have a passion for people and service excellence.
• Self-motivated and strong communication skills.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Strong understanding of the game/business of golf required.
• Able to work flexible hours (early morning, evening and occasional split shifts)
• Ability to deal with high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well within both a team setting and an independent setting with limited supervision.
• Leadership experience would be considered a strong asset.
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft, Outlook, Golf Genius and POS systems - Lightspeed)
• Proactive with a demonstrated eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple facets of the operation day to day
• Highly motivated and guest driven with a passion to continually exceed expectations and anticipate needs
• Solutions-orientated, strong interpersonal skills and problem solving techniques
