Established in 1899, The Royal Regina Golf Club is Saskatchewan’s first and oldest golf club. Our prestigious, semi-private golf club holds the distinction of being one of only six courses in Canada to have received official “Royal” designation.

Royal Regina Golf Club has approx. 800 members. All golfers who play Royal Regina Golf Club have high expectations and require exceptional service levels. Royal Regina is known for its history and takes pride in its course. Our Turfcare team strives to meet and exceed the golfer’s expectations and give them the Royal Treatment.

Job Description
We are seeking an individual who possesses a passion for the game and the industry. The Assistant Superintendent will be an asset to the leadership group on the Turfcare Team. The Assistant of the Royal Regina Turfcare Team assists in the care and management of the golf course and performs a wide variety of tasks. As an Assistant, you will be relied on to perform all tasks regarding supporting the Superintendent, Sr. Assistant Superintendent, Mechanic, and the rest of the team.

These tasks include and are not limited to:
● Course setup and other daily maintenance practices
● Cultural practices & product applications
● Irrigation system use, repair, startup and blowout
● Opportunity to lead teams through various projects
● Event and tournament preparation
● Course improvement projects

Qualifications:
● Enrolled in or completed a Turfgrass Management Certification, Diploma or Degree
● Strong leadership, communication and accountability to grow their skills
● Basic knowledge of performing and applying all cultural practices
● Application of fertility and pesticide chemicals
● Valid driver’s license
● Possess or be willing to attain a Saskatchewan Pesticide Applicators License
