Summary:
As a Golf Course Landscape Labourer your role will be to assist with the daily maintenance of Kokanee Springs Golf Course, Clubhouse and Golf Shop area gardens to help to ensure that the golf course is always presented at the highest possible standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To perform multiple tasks related to all aspects of the golf course landscape maintenance emphasizing safe working procedures.
• To maintain and present both the playable and aesthetic areas of the Kokanee Springs Golf Course property to the highest possible
level.
• To help maintain the function and cleanliness of the Kokanee Springs Golf Course equipment, equipment maintenance facility and
the Atco staff/office building
• To perform non-turf and garden-related duties as required.

Successful Candidates will possess the following:
• Related experience in high-end golf course landscape maintenance and operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with resort operations is a plus.
• Experience with landscaping and gardening is a plus.
• Being a golfer is a plus.
• This position is an outdoor job. A Golf Course Landscape Labourer must be able to work outdoors in many different types of weather
conditions, be able to focus on the task at hand for 8-hour days and be physically capable of carrying out all golf course landscape
maintenance-related tasks such as repeatedly lifting 25kg objects as well as having the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend or operate
landscape maintenance tools or equipment for up to 8-hour shifts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills; accurate; highly detail oriented.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license (BC class 5 or equivalent) and transportation to work are required.
• Ability to start work as early as 4:30 am daily and work at least one weekend day.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• A variety of clothing is recommended, i.e. work gloves, and rain gear.

Wage: range of $17.50 - $20.50 based on experience
