Greenskeeper

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Greenskeeper to join our team and ensure the golf course remains in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the course's health and aesthetics through tasks such as mowing, watering, fertilizing, and managing pests. You will handle routine maintenance, including equipment upkeep and landscape care, to provide a high-quality playing experience. CORE COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in landscape maintenance is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in using power tools and handheld tools.
• Team-player mindset, with a goal-oriented outlook.
• Ability to utilize time management skills, and work independently.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
COURSE MAINTENANCE
• Mowing and rolling greens, tees, and fairways.
• Raking and weed control in bunkers (sand traps).
• Repairing divots on the course.
• Clearing debris using rakes and backpack blowers.
• Assisting in cultural practices (hand watering, topdressing, aeration).
ORGANIZATIONAL
• Daily cleaning of equipment and maintenance facility.
• Daily inspection of equipment and machinery, before and after use.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow directions and health and safety procedures.
• Regular shift schedule, of Monday-Friday from 6am to 12:30pm, and every other weekend from 6am to 10am.
