Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Seasonal Custodian / Maintenance Assistant to help keep our clubhouse and facilities in top condition throughout the golf season. This hands-on role includes daily cleaning, deep cleaning projects, and minor repair or maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and appreciates being part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning of washrooms, locker rooms, floors, and clubhouse areas.
• Complete scheduled deep cleaning (windows, carpets, walls, and fixtures).
• Assist with light handyman work such as painting, changing bulbs, or small repairs.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and report inventory or facility needs.
• Inspect facilities daily to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with event setup, including golf cart, table, and chair arrangements.
• Follow all health, safety, and chemical handling procedures.

Qualifications and Skills
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred (hospitality or recreational setting an asset).
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing minor repairs.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and performing active work.
• Flexible for some weekend or evening shifts.
• Available for the full seasonal term (April 1 – November 15).
