Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager and Events Co-Ordinator to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, restaurant and food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including kitchen and bar services
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
- Monitor food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and food safety standards
- Oversee POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Lead team management efforts to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Implement restaurant policies, procedures, and standards to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely availability of quality ingredients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in a hospitality setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, restaurant operations, and hospitality standards
- Previous hotel or barista experience is considered a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team effectively
