Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager and Events Co-Ordinator to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, restaurant and food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including kitchen and bar services
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
  • Monitor food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Oversee POS systems for order processing and cash handling
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
  • Lead team management efforts to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Implement restaurant policies, procedures, and standards to optimize operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely availability of quality ingredients

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in a hospitality setting
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends, restaurant operations, and hospitality standards
  • Previous hotel or barista experience is considered a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team effectively
