Job Title: Line Cook
Location: Copper Point Golf Club (The View Restaurant)
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef/ Chef De Partie.


Job Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency during service. This role supports daily clubhouse dining as well as tournaments, events, and private functions in a fast-paced golf hospitality environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Work efficiently on assigned kitchen stations (Grill, Fry, Prep, Salad.)
  • Assist with food preparation before service, including mise en place.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service.
  • Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and minimizing food waste.
  • Properly handle kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and special events.
  • Helping and Supporting Dishwasher to Clean the Dish Area During Closing.
  • Through Cleaning of Kitchen, Sweeping & Moping Every night during Busy Operation.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.

Qualifications

  • Culinary training or kitchen experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Food Safety & Hygiene certification (required or willingness to obtain).


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
