Where: Located 15 minutes North of Merritt on Highway 5A, 40 minutes South of Kamloops.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an energetic, service driven and passionate Assistant / Associate Golf Professional to lead our golf operations. The successful candidate will be member focused and have first-hand experience in delivering exceptional guest service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Assistant /Associate Golf Professional, reporting to the General Manager and Assistant Club Manager, is responsible for the successful and efficient operation of the golf operations department.
• Assist in the Management of the pro shop, practice areas, hiring and training of all employees, scheduling, monitor work and evaluates performance.
• Manage and inspire a strong team of Starters, Service Staff and Pro-Shop staff.
• Implement policies and procedures established by the General Manager, Head Professional and Assistant Club Manager.
• Maintain a visible presence within the golf operations.
• Financial management of the golf operations budget, including its preparation, explanation, and implementation
• Takes corrective actions as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
• Work together with other department managers to ensure important information is communicated, ensuring member satisfaction at all events and on a day-to-day basis.
• The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong motivational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
• The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be a proven motivator, and will be results oriented.
• Organized, detailed and a proven problem solver.
• Demonstrates exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Highly visible with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• 3+ Years of leadership in Golf or Hospitality Industry
• Class A Member in the PGA of Canada

The is a Full-Time seasonal role – April to October, with the opportunity to move to year-round in the future. Salary range is $55,000 – 65,000 based on year – round work.
