Outdoor Services Manager

Canadian Golf & Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as outdoor services manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic outdoor environment managing and mentoring young Backshop staff. Our ideal candidate is someone who works well as a team and an individual and who has excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. Someone who has flexibility in life and their schedule and who can be hands on.

This is a Part-time position for the duration of the golf season (April - November)

Job Description and Responsibilities (include but aren’t limited to):
Managing all aspects of the outside services team, including bag storage, power carts, practice facilities.
Monitor all Back Shop Attendants (outside support team) perform all duties in accordance with the daily procedures.
Coaching and motivating your team to inspire top performance and an exceptional customer experience.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Back Shop and main outdoor area
Setting up and maintaining large practice facility
Fix minor repairs to push carts, power carts, range picker etc
Power-washing electric golf carts, picking up and cleaning range balls

Job Requirements:
Experience with small repairs / handy work
Able to perform physically demanding duties (standing, lifting, walking)
Able to follow and complete task lists
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:
Up to 8-hour shift on your feet
Available to work on Holidays, evenings and weekends
Available to work Sunday evenings

The Canadian Golf and Country club is a 27-hole course located 15 minutes west of Stittsville off of Highway 7. Please note that no public transportation comes out to our location, personal vehicle or reliable transportation is required.
