We’re seeking enthusiastic, service-focused individuals who take pride in delivering excellent guest experiences and enjoy working with a collaborative, diversely skilled team.
As a Pro Shop Attendant, you play a key role in the daily operations of our Pro Shop and retail space. From answering calls and booking tee times to welcoming and checking in golfers, you are the first impression of our course!
Here are a few of the duties to expect:
- deliver prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guests and employees.
-provide product knowledge to members and guests
- assist with displays and merchandising pro shop inventory, helping with packing and unpacking inventory and ensuring the pro shop is in pristine condition, yes, that means dusting and sweeping occasionally!
- issue receipts for greens fees and cart rentals using Lightspeed golf
- help in preparing for tournaments and in-house events
Do you have or are you willing to quickly learn.....
- previous experience with point of sale systems and'or retail experience.
- familiarity with the rules of golf and course etiquette
- a sales or influencer acumen
- ability to analyze and solve problems, a good multi-tasker who can efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
Preference will be given to applicants who are able to stay to the end of the season, at least weekends into September.
You may be required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 8 hours at a time.
Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
Work hours will include days and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays, or as negotiated and your hours will increase as we move from training to the busy summer season.
