We are currently hiring Pro Shop / Golf Shop Attendants for the upcoming golf season.

Position Summary
The Pro Shop / Golf Shop Attendant is often the first point of contact for golfers and plays a key role in delivering a warm, efficient, and professional experience. You will handle tee time bookings, check-ins, retail sales, and support daily golf operations, while helping to keep carts and equipment clean and ready for play. ins, retail sales, and support daily golf operations, while helping to keep carts and equipment clean and ready for play.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet members and guests and provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Answer phones, take tee time reservations, and respond to general inquiries.
• Check in golfers and process green fees, memberships, and league payments using the POS system.
• Handle retail sales of pro shop merchandise, including apparel, accessories, and golf equipment.
• Set up and maintain merchandise displays; ensure the golf shop is clean, organized, and well stocked. stocked.
• Coordinate with starters, marshals, and other staff to help manage tee times and pace of play.
• Assist with tournament and league check-ins and basic event support as needed. ins and basic event support as needed.
• Clean and stage power carts and pull carts, ensuring they are ready for use.
• Assist with cleaning and wiping down golf clubs when required.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth golf operations.

Qualifications and Skills
• Previous experience in golf, customer service, retail, and/or POS systems is an asset, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Comfortable working with computers and learning tee sheet and POS software (training provided).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to multi task in a busy environment.

• Interest in golf is an asset; knowledge of the game and terminology is helpful.

Availability and Schedule
• Seasonal positions with both full-time (30–40 hours/week) and part-time (15–25 hours/week) opportunities.
• Must be available for a mix of shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation is required; the club is in a rural area with no bus service.
