The Rock Golf Club, designed by legendary golfer Nick Faldo, has been artfully sculpted on the shores of one of Muskoka's premier lakes, Lake Rosseau. Utilizing the site's dynamic topography, the 6649-yard course is carved tight with narrow tree-lined fairways and sloping greens that wind through rock outcroppings, hardwood trees and rolling hills.

Position Overview
The Starter/Marshal plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily golf operations and maintaining an exceptional guest experience. This position oversees pace of play, enforces course policies, and provides friendly and professional assistance to all guests throughout their round.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet players warmly and provide information on course rules, pace of play, and daily conditions.
• Coordinate and manage starting times to ensure an orderly flow of play.
• Monitor pace of play throughout the course and address any delays tactfully and professionally.
• Provide assistance to golfers as needed (directions, course information, minor first aid, etc.).
• Maintain communication with the Pro Shop regarding tee times, weather conditions, and course flow.
• Inspect course areas during rounds and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Support the Pro Shop team as needed to enhance guest satisfaction and overall operations.
• Support Golf Services team as needed with staging, washing and parking carts.

Qualifications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and pace of play expectations.
• Ability to work independently and handle situations with diplomacy.
• Previous experience in golf operations or customer service is an asset.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation
• To be discussed. Based on experience $18-$20 per hour.
